Police have requested all TV video footage of Josh Powell, the husband of Susan Powell who has been missing for over a week. Most Salt Lake City TV stations received subpoenas Friday, and the police have declined to comment on why they need the video footage.
Susan Powell has been missing from her West Valley City home since December 6. Susan’s husband, Josh Powell has been called a person of interest in the case.
Josh told the police he went camping after midnight early Monday morning with his two young sons (ages 2 and 4), when it was below 25 degrees outside. Josh failed to show up to work the next day, and didn’t call in.
Prosecutors have filed two warrants to search the Powell house, one to search the family car and the other to obtain DNA from Josh Powell.
A candlelight vigil is being held for Susan Powell on Sunday night in Puyallup, Washington, near Susan Powell’s hometown.
