If you thought that Susan Boyle's brother Gerry was going to stay quiet about the "Britain's Got Talent" sensation, then think again.In an new interview, Gerry lashes out at Susan's nieces over the way they are currently handling the singer's career:
"Basically, two of Susan's nieces who had no time for her before Britain's Got Talent are now controlling her career. She's living her dream. The downside is that she has to be careful who she's involved with. She has good days and bad days. She's under intense pressure now. I don't think Susan [realizes] just how famous she is."
Boyle has faced immense pressure since her time on TV last year, and he famously checked into a treatment facility following her stint on the show to deal with "exhaustion." We have already heard some rumblings about conflict between Susan and the nieces -- including a rumored "confrontation" about a flight to Japan for Boyle's birthday celebration. However, nothing is confirmed and it seems to be more or less business as usual.

I think Susan has something fantastic her voice comes from the heart. I have dedicated 31 videos on yuotube that I created that run in English sites dedicated to her. Her voice came in the heart will continue to stand by her side I'm sure her dream will continue for me is a special person. Her voice will continue to travel the world.
And Gerry's blathering to the press helps her deal with pressure HOW???
I think it is amazing how "family" comes out of the woodwork when one comes into money. Of course, strangers can be worse but you don't feel obligated to them. Susan needs to trust professionals but having people in your camp that you are familiar with may be a comfort. Jerry seems to want to get his hands on her money. Where were they all when she needed comfort?
Both nieces have professional skills of value to Susan, which brother Gerry does not. Both nieces and her sister are capable of discretion when it comes to family & professional matters, and Gerry is not. If Susan does not trust her brother, it is because he has betrayed her by his constant negative comments in the press. He makes allegations with no facts to back them up. He appears to be unable to adjust to the fact that HE can't control either her or her income. That's his problem, not Susan's.
I'd like to see the press investigate him for a change. What is his source of income? If he's a "businessman", what is his business? What were its revenues last year? Why does he think his advice is worth anything?
Certainly not, Gerry should not tell everything to the press, Susan won't listens to him and she has already learned not to tell him all her secret now after the last incident(he went to the press and told them about Susan's late night call to him). Gerry should not reveal his heart to heart with Susan to the press. That is called "Betrayal". I think Gerry is the one who is trying to control Susan. Wow, I honestly don't need enemy if I have a brother like him.
Oh dear Gerry, you say you are concerned but you do not say how exactly. Really going to the press is not the answer unless you are trying to ruin Susan's career, she is not a child anymore she is doing fine, she has said as much on her website and she has confidence in her Management. If you know something different don't take the media route, what good does it do, the readers of the articles cannot do anything, the only person you are hurting is your sister. I do wish you would stop or else do something about it in PRIVATE .You say Susan is not happy but you also say you only see her "once in a blue moon" so how do you know she is unhappy. Susan has said that she is happier now than she has ever been, I prefer to believe Susan. She is about to go into the recording studio and has her autobiograpy out in the Autumn, good for you Susan.
The bottom line I think, is that the brothers resent not being involed in Susan's wonderful dream, unlike her nieces and sister.
Gerry is just frustrated he can't get to her MONEY.
He is a about the money!!

Susan, I listen to your 1st cd at night when I go to bed. You have the most beautiful voice I've heard in a long time. God has given you the most precious gift of all and I think you are a smart and knowledgeable person. Make your own decisions in life and if you believe in your siblings do what your heart tells you.
Susan, it happens every time when someone in the family comes into some money. This is yours to do with as you wish. You can take care of it . Others have had alot of "Family Pressure". You never see them and then there they are, hands out. You have wisely said it can fade and I need to be careful for my future living cost. Put your foot firmly down "no way" I am my own person. Yes you won't see them again. Shame on them they want your money and have gone to the press crying. You put up with "bullies" before you can do it again. Shame that it is family.
I have liked Susan Boyle from the first time I viewed her audition on You Tube. I have her CD and will continue to purchase her music as long as she makes it. As far as her family, they need to let her live her life. She's very talented, successful and wealthy. They all need to keep their nose out of her business. Family's great, but not when they want to control everything in your life. Keep living your dream Susan. You deserve all the success in the world. You mum would be proud. May God continue to bless you and watch over you.
why is it that when you were poor nobody seems to care but when you become famous and have money then everybody wants to have a share shame on those whose sole intent is your money only ...her family pls don't be greedy!
