Susan Boyle is the target of tabloid attention once again thanks to a fainting spell at London's Heathrow airport on Tuesday. The singer reportedly passed out due to the heat prior to boarding a plane, but still managed to give a performance at San Remo Festival that night.
A spokesman confirmed that the incident occurred, but found a lovely way to spin it in a positive way:
"Susan did faint at Heathrow as she overheated in the lounge because it was so warm. However, she is fine now and gave a fantastic performance at the festival."
The main reason this is a major story is because the "Britain's Got Talent" phenomenon has a history with exhaustion. Following the finale of the reality show last spring, Susan took to a recovery center to rest and get away from the constant paparazzi presence. She has since spaced out the majority of her concerts / TV appearances in an attempt to create a successful transition into show business as someone who spent the majority of her life in a tiny Scottish village.
