"Britain's Got Talent" sensation Susan Boyle hasn't been asked to sing for the Pope just yet, but the Catholic Church has invited her to sing at a special tribute for Padre Pio, an influential monk who passed away in 1968.
The Scottish Delegate for the Padre Pio Center had this to say in a statement according to The Daily Express:
"Susan has inspired so many of us. I don't think she realises the impact she is having, not only through her music, but spiritually to people throughout the world."
Meanwhile, Susan is considering the offer since she has a "great devotion" to the monk as a follower to the Catholic faith.
Do you think that it would suit Susan Boyle to perform at such a sacred religious ceremony? Feel free to share your thoughts below and stay tuned for more of the latest news.

Susan will do great at the Vatican. Congratulations Susan and God bless you. Have a great time in Italy too.
Of course, Susan should perform in the Pope's visit to Glassgow & perform for the tribute ceremony for Padre Pio. What an honor to be invited. Susan Boyle is one of the best condidates for them. She is a well known devoted Catholic. Susan has said many times that her faith is the back bone of her life, and it was her faith that got her through all the bullies that she has suffered all her life.
WTG Susan! You show those young girls how its done!
Anything that makes Susan Boyle happy is what she should do now. That's my sincere hope for her. She has had enough unhappiness in her life because of a few of the bullying and now-envious and actual nobodies of the music world, showbiz, etc. who are heedless of perpetuating the hurt. (Truly only a few) They count for nothing. This lady has an extraordinary talent to sing and reach people's hearts. That's what counts for the many that matter.
Susan, do whatever makes you happy. This is finally your time, so enjoy every second.
