Simon Cowell is looking to bring his "Everybody Hurts" adaptation to the masses; for evidence, all you need to do is check out the music video released below. The song, which features a number of performers from Susan Boyle to Rod Stewart to Miley Cyrus, is already receiving airplay across the pond in Great Britain; in addition, a radio documentary by Simon's brother Tony is being offered to those stations who choose to support the song's charity cause in Haiti.

The official music video can be uplifting at times, though by and large it is difficult to watch. Images of children bruised and suffering and spliced into footage of Boyle and company performing the song in the studio; the popular "American Idol" judge is obviously going for compassion here in some form, especially since there is an address at the end of the video where you can visit to donate immediately.

Since all proceeds for the song are going to a fantastic cause, I am embedding the "Everybody Hurts" video below. However, be warned that some of the images are jarring and may cause discomfort. If you'd rather make a quick donation to Haiti, visit the Red Cross now.
