Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca announced they are going their separate ways after ten loving years together, People reported Feb. 18. A statement was given by the couple Monday morning stating, "It is with much consideration and a heavy heart that we are announcing that after 10 years of a loving relationship, the decision was made to move on without each other.”
The couple first met during the finale of “Survivor: Amazon.” They each won a season of the popular reality show. Morasca won “Survivor: Amazon” while Zohn was the winner of “Survior: Africa.” The pair went on to compete together in “The Amazing Race.” They also starred in their own reality show “Everyday Health.”
Their break-up may come as a shock to their fans. They endured a lot during their decade together. Zohn battled Hodgkins lymphoma twice during their relationship. He even underwent a stem cell transplant in Feb. 2012. Morasca remained there by his side through it all. They both became very active in raising awareness and support for cancer survivors.
The statement they made went on to say, "We will carry with us the memories of a relationship grounded in love, laughter, support and friendship.” They have asked everyone to respect their privacy through this difficult time.
