Sunday a big night for reality TV fans. On CBS, Survivor: Redemption Island comes to an end and crowns a new sole survivor, while over on the Style Network, a new season of hair pulling premieres on Jerseylicious. While the two reality shows are totally different, both are entertaining and worth watching. Because they air during the same time, be sure to crank up the DVR.
Survivor: Redemption Island: 8/7c on CBS
The 2-hour season finale kicks off at 8/7c on CBS. Grant, Matt, Natalie and Mike will face off for a final duel on Redemption Island. Three will see their torches extinguished, while the winner moves back to the main camp. That person will go against Boston Rob, crazy Phillip and Andrea. One more challenge will ensue and then the finalists will have the chance to plead their case to the jury. Who will outwit, outplay and outlast all the others? Be sure to check it out tonight. The 2-hour finale will be followed by a reunion special where all 16 competitors will join the winner on stage. Look for fireworks between rivals Boston Rob and Russell Hantz, especially if Rob Marino is declared the ultimate Survivor.
Jerseylicious: 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Style Network
Jerseylicious is pure reality TV fun that centers around a New Jersey hair salon called Gatsby. Its star characters include owners Gail Giacomo and Christy Pereria, stylists Tracy Dimarco, Anthony Lombardi and GiGi Liscio, plus make-up artists Olivia Blois Sharpe and Alexa Prisco. Boyfriends and ex-boyfriends are also thrown into the mix of wacky, but lovable characters. Season three kicks off tonight with a new round of jealousies and smack downs between Tracy and Olivia. When we last saw the gals of Jerseylicious, Olivia was dating Tracy’s ex-boyfriend, which was fuel for a big battle. The feud continues stronger than ever this season. Tracy recently said, “Olivia’s with Mickey and I’m happy for them because I think they’re both really toxic people and they belong together. They’re the perfectly disgusting couple." Oh-oh. All is not happy in Gatsby land, that’s for sure. However, one thing is certain – fans are sure to be entertained yet again.
