"Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" won't premiere on CBS until February 11, but as with every season you can expect a profile of each contestant here leading up to the 20th edition of the popular reality competition.
Today, the focus is on Candice Woodcock.
Name: Candice Woodcock
Age: 27
Occupation: Med student
Location: Washington, DC
Past season: "Survivor: Cook Islands"
Tribe: Heroes
Claim to fame: Candice is one of the more interesting characters on this season of "Survivor." She kissed Adam after being voted out of "Cook Islands," though she is probably more remembered for being the target of Billy Garcia's "affections" earlier in the season. She also is known for being the first castaway to ever mutiny to the other tribe -- she was quickly joined by Jonathan Penner.
Is she an All-Star? It's certainly a worthy topic for debate. If you are judging Candice based on placement alone, it would be tough to label her as one of the "very best." After all, she placed eighth on "Cook Islands." On the other hand, she was one of the more popular contestants from the season and she took part in some memorable moments. While I may have preferred to see someone from an earlier season in this spot (like Kelly from "Borneo" or Vecepia from "Marquesas"), Candice is a worthy choice. Is she a hero? Considering that she mutinied, that's a better question to ask.
Analysis: Candice is in a perfect position in many ways. She's strong enough physically to not be a weak link, she's also not going to have a target on her back. She's a smart player, and she showed last time that she won't be afraid to take some risks if they can keep her alive in the game a little bit longer. The fact that she's not part of the Los Angeles social circuit could maybe hurt her, but she could have some strong allies in Tom, Rupert, and JT.
Prediction: Out of everyone on "Heroes vs. Villains" I'm thinking right now that Candice has the best chance at winning the whole thing. She's not going to be a threat like Parvati, and she's also capable of making a strong argument in the end. Candice could even end up playing a role similar to Natalie from "Samoa:" someone could take her to the end only to find themselves finishing in second place. I'd warn everyone to watch out for this girl: she is more dangerous than anyone.
