The animosity in the Fans tribe was in full swing tonight on “Survivor”, the dislike for Shamar from some members has the tribe divided and nowhere was it more clear than on the reward challenge where Shamar tried to play the hero, but it did not bring them victory. And he on the other hand just lies around not wanting to do anything, however, tonight something flew into his eye and caused two scratches inside his eye, the medics were called and he was taken out of the game.
The it was time for the immunity challenge which once again the Favorites won, however, thanks to Reynold it was not a blown away, but instead it breached the gap significantly; nevertheless, the Fans found themselves once again en route to Tribal Council, and there it was pointed out that voting one of the strong players just to keep an alliance alive would be the tribe’s demise, because challenges are not won with trust and friendship, brawn is indeed more important.
The argument that Eddie made apparently was heard and at the end Laura, who clearly was the weakest person in the tribe was voted out. That elimination might forge a clearer understanding among the Fans’ tribe, that unity coupled with strength wins challenges and perhaps their future might have been altered for making a strategic decision and truly living up to the show’s standards Outwit, Outlast, Outplay.
And next week according to previews on the Favorites tribe it appears as though Brandon, looking for attention and distraction just goes berserk and decides to tear up the camp and dump the food on the ground. “Survivor” runs on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on CBS.
