Tonight, April 9, “Survivor: Cagayan” started out with the tribe’s return to camp after Kass flipped and voted Sarah out at Tribal Council. She expected everyone to be angry as she talked to her new “friends.” (She wasn’t quite ready to call them an alliance). Spencer and Morgan made comments to her and gave her a hard time. In the morning, Kass was snotty right back to Morgan as she said Morgan should go get the tribe water. (Morgan attributed this to her being prettier than Kass, of course).

Everyone met Jeff out on the beach for a Reward Challenge. They had to divide into two teams – the random order landed Spencer, Morgan, Jefra, Jeremiah, and LJ on one team, with Tony, Tasha, Trish, Woo, and Kass on the other. First, each group had to make their way through the water over a mesh teeter totter and across a balance beam before returning to the beach to carry a chest across the sand, climbing a tall wooden wall, and hoisting their chest of puzzle pieces up and over the wall. Then, each team had to put together a stacked puzzle.

Spencer, Morgan, Jefra, Jeremiah, and LJ finished first and won the Outback Steakhouse reward, while the others headed back to camp. Kass wondered if everyone planned to vote Spencer or Jeremiah out next, so they asked her opinion – she said it didn’t matter, as long as it wasn’t her.

After their delicious reward of steaks, baked potatoes, and dessert, the winning group returned to camp in the midst of a downpour. Spencer had found a hidden Immunity Idol clue inside his napkin, so he went in search of the Idol. Woo knew clues were usually somewhere on a reward outing, so he went into stealth mode and took off after Spencer. They ran into each other, and Woo picked up Spencer’s pants to hand back to him…and the clue fell out. Woo picked it up and took off, and Spencer wasn’t able to catch up. Back at camp, Woo told the others and recruited LJ. Spencer also returned to camp and recruited Jeremiah to help him look. Tony and Morgan decided to join in the hunt as well, which caused pretty much everyone at camp to search. Woo left Kass to watch Spencer, and he apologized for talking to her the way he had the night before. He found the Idol and pretended to keep digging until Kass looked away, and then he put it in his pocket.

The next day, the whole tribe met Jeff in a clearing for the Immunity Challenge. They each had to stand perfectly still while balancing a block between the top of their heads and rectangular wooden frames built around them. Kass, LJ, Trish, and Tony were out quickly. Morgan and Woo were the next two out, after about 25 minutes. Jefra and LJ lost their balance after an hour, and it was Tasha who lost it after an hour-and-a-half, meaning Spencer won Immunity.

When everyone returned to camp, Kass spoke to Tony, LJ, Jefra, Trish, and Woo. They discussed voting out Tash or Morgan, but they were concerned about an Immunity Idol being played by the other side. Spencer approached Kass, since they knew they needed her to vote with them to move forward, and he told her they were going to vote Tony out. Kass agreed to consider it.

At Tribal Council, Jeff asked how everything had gone after Kass flipped. Spencer admitted to getting pretty upset and said he felt good about having immunity. Tony said his group. Morgan said she isn’t much a physical threat, and no one likes her, so she didn’t think anyone would vote for her. Trish said she never helps around camp, either. Morgan defended herself by saying LJ and Jeremiah took care of the girls back at camp, and Jeff commented that was probably how things were in her everyday life, which she agreed with before promising to help more around camp. Jefra described her alliance as everyone being a different link on the chain to say no one was on the bottom. Spencer disagreed and said someone was always on the bottom, but Tony and Trish were confident Kass was sticking with them. Kass spoke up and said she made her decision, and when she sits down at a table in Vegas with a friend, she doesn’t mind beating them. With that, they voted, and Jeff read the results: Tony received four votes, but Morgan received five and was voted out.
