Tonight’s episode of Survivor: Blood vs.Water picked up after Tribal Council. Hayden was disappointed to see Caleb go home and told everyone he hoped they all liked second place, because if Tyson made it to the end, he was going to win. Gervase joked and said Tyson couldn’t have done anything without him. The group decided they would vote Hayden out next, and if he won immunity, they would vote Katie out instead.

Jeff brought Tina, Laura, and Caleb into Redemption Island Arena for the duel, and Caleb said he didn’t want to look at anyone because he only had nice words for Katie and Hayden. Gervase said he and Tyson had a deal with Caleb and Hayden, but they tried to do dirty on them, so they had to get them out first. The duel began, and Tina, Laura, and Caleb had to build a house of cards using 150 tiles. The goal was to get it to the top of an eight-foot pole without the tiles falling down. Laura won the duel, and Tina and Caleb had three minutes left after that to try and build the tallest stack. With 30 seconds left, Caleb’s stack toppled and fell over, so Tina stopped working on hers and made it through to second place, eliminating Caleb from the game. Laura again gave the Immunity Idol clue to Ciera, who kept it.

The tribe returned to camp, and Ciera went with Monica, Tyson, and Gervase to get more water. They opened the Immunity Idol clue together, and Hayden and Katie followed them to join in on the search. Tyson took off on his own and found the Idol in a tree. He tucked it away in his shorts and decided to keep it to himself. Hayden talked to Gervase, and he told Hayden he needed to get Ciera in order for him to consider blindsiding Tyson. Gervase wasn’t invested in Hayden, but he wanted to keep his options open.

Everyone met Jeff in the sand for the Immunity Challenge. Each person had to balance a small ball on top of a pole while working through an obstacle course. As they worked through each section, they had to add on another section of pole to make it taller. Monica quickly took the lead once again and made it to the final portion, in which she had to toss sandbags to knock down wooden logs balancing on top of pegs. Gervase was on Monica’s tail the entire time and managed to come from behind and win Immunity and an ice cream reward, which Jeff allowed him to share with someone. He chose Monica and was then allowed to choose one more person, so he chose Tyson.

Back at camp, a man came rolling an ice cream cart in, so Gervase, Monica, and Tyson went to enjoy their feast. Hayden took the opportunity to pitch his idea to vote Tyson or Monica out. Ciera wasn’t very interested in his plan, so he talked to her with Gervase later on. Hayden explained that it was the best time to get Tyson out, but Ciera and Gervase wouldn’t budge. Finally, Hayden told Tyson he had been trying to get the others to blindside him, but they hadn’t agreed, and Tyson was glad. Hayden decided to go into Tribal Council guns blazing and hope for the best.

At Tribal Council, Hayden said Gervase, Ciera, and Monica were being controlled by Tyson. Hayden said he had taken a backseat while Tyson decided who would go, and Ciera said Tyson and Caleb decided to vote out her mom. Katie said she hadn’t been involved in any conversations because she was on the bottom, and Monica said four was better than six. Hayden chimed back in and said Ciera was number four in the alliance, and he continued to explain that Ciera would be one of three in his alliance with Katie. They continued to go back and forth, and Hayden and Tyson argued when Hayden said “rustle” instead of “ruffle.” (Tyson told him it was ruffle, and Hayden explained you can rustle feathers like you can rustle leaves). In the end, Jeff read the votes, and it the vote was split between Hayden and Monica. Gervase, Tyson, Ciera, and Katie voted again, and the votes were still split, so Jeff told them they could unanimously come to a decision to avoid drawing rocks. Ciera told the others she was number four, and the only way she would agree to a vote is if they wrote down Monica’s name, so Tyson said they should draw rocks. Because Gervase had Immunity, Ciera, Tyson, and Katie drew rocks, and it was Katie who chose the white rock and was sent to Redemption Island.
