Season 28 of “Survivor” now has a premiere date, and CBS shared the details on Jan. 15. This installment is dubbed “Survivor: Brains vs. Beauty vs. Brawns” and will premiere on Feb. 26.

Survivor 28” will give viewers a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 26. After that, it will go back to its typical one-hour format. “Survivor” spoilers have indicated that this is a cast of all new players, though a couple of faces may be familiar to sports fans. In addition, there is no Redemption Island this season, much to the relief of many fans. Everybody should, however, expect some other new twists and turns as things get underway.

There will be three tribes, and they are broken down into cliché groupings as referenced in this season's name. Will it be beauty, brains or brawn that gets the castaways to the finale this season? Viewers will have to tune in to find out, and the premiere is on a few weeks away now. Fans can now start counting down to the “Survivor 28” premiere airing Feb. 26 on CBS.
