According to Broadway World on Dec. 26, 2013 to get your metabolism going you should eat within one hour of waking up. To break the ‘fast’ from overnight, eat berries, egg (hardboiled) oatmeal or a quick healthy green smoothie. All of these are very easy to make quickly.
A recent study found that one thing most obese or overweight people had in common was skipping breakfast. According to the survey, most of the people surveyed that were overweight admitted to not eating breakfast at all most days. Some even went as far to admit that three of seven days, they do not eat until dinner time after work.
The reason most commonly given was time. They claim they do not have time to eat in the morning or make themselves a lunch. So they make up for it by either skipping meals or eating something fast at a fast food establishment.
The solution is very easy. If the time is an issue, make a smoothie in the morning and take it with you. Add spinach to it to be a quick green smoothie. It will help you focus more at work or school. Pack you lunch in the evening. Make a sandwich or even a fruit salad with walnuts or pecans.
Being fit is a lifestyle, make time to make sure you eat well, so you will have the energy to come home and go for a jog before bedtime.
