Considering that Super Bowl XLVII is just around the corner, what type of party guest do Americans hate the most? It turns out that 52 percent of U.S. adults hate the "know-it-all" the most, according to a Jan. 30 UPI report. Harris Interactive reached out to over 2,000 adults earlier this month to conduct a poll on the Super Bowl.
According to the survey, blowhards who "knows all there is to know on football, food and commercials" are the most disliked guest at Super Bowl parties. Thus, if you know a lot about sports you might think about exercising more humility and sensitivity when you watch the big game. This weekend, the San Francisco 49ers will take on the Baltimore Ravens with the 49ers favored by about four points to win Lombardi Trophy.
Here are other survey results:
- 41 percent dislike the person who won't stop playing with the remote control
- 38 percent said the worst guest was the person who doesn't watch the game and doesn't stop talking
- 21 percent said they disliked the super fan who wears his/her favorite team's gear and team colors
- 18 percent said they disliked the health freak at Super Bowl parties
Nearly six of 10 Americans of adult age are expected to watch the Super Bowl this year which will take place on Feb. 3 at the Superdome in New Orleans. Alicia Keys will sing the national anthem.
The game between the 49ers and Ravens is expected to be the most watched sporting event in North America this year and among the most popular televised show in the world.
