Surveillance video shows Justin Bieber in area of egging: Report

After earlier reports that indicated there was no surveillance video available in the Justin Bieber "egging case," it now appears that there may be footage after all. The TMZ report, issued early Monday, reported that law enforcement sources say that they only discovered surveillance video during their raid on Bieber's mansion, they have provided it to the District Attorney.

According to sources, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has recommended that felony vandalism charges be issued against Bieber. The reason they recommend a felony, notably, is that the damage is over $400, which is where the line is drawn.

There are two pieces of crucial evidence in the case, as well as eyewitness testimony. There is the aforementioned surveillance video discovered during the raid, and also the neighbor's video, which can be viewed here.

In the case of the former, the video shows Justin Bieber "in the vicinity" of the area where the egging occurred -- at the time of the attack. That being said, you don't see him throwing eggs.

the video shows Bieber in the vicinity of the area where the egging occurred at the time of the attack. You don't actually see him throwing eggs, but he's there.

In the neighbor's video, you hear the voice of what sounds uncannily like Bieber verbally sparring with the neighbor. In this case, this is no visual of Bieber, but only audio. You can hear what sounds like Bieber shouting, "F*** you! I got another one for you actually."

The neighbor and his 13-year-old daughter are witnesses to the egging. The girl made a call to 911 which matches the time that Justin Bieber was seen in the surveillance video.

The question is if the D.A. will consider the evidence strong enough to charge Bieber at all. In addition, assuming the D.A. does, will the case be filed as a felony or a misdemeanor? The neighbor has submitted repair estimates totaling about $20,000. That might sound outrageous, but remember that these are expensive homes, and the area in question has very expensive Venetian plaster on it.

The D.A is expected to hand down a decision later this week.
