…Well sort of. Unlike Beyonce who remained completely silent about her musical project, Mariah Carey has opted to tell that an album is in fact in the works, but as far as the album’s release date, title, and tracklist….well that’s for her to know and for you to find out.

“I have to be the one that announces this, especially the title,” Carey told Billboard. However, the 44 year-old singer did reveal that the album’s name comes from a “personal possession of mine that’s part of an entity that I’ve had almost all my life.”

Hmm…any ideas on what it could be?

Though it’s clear that Carey has taken a page from the Beyonce handbook, the ‘Hero’ singer admitted in the past to New York radio station Power 105 that she has yet to even listen to Beyonce’s latest album.

“I love Beyonce, but I haven’t listen to her new songs,” she admitted.

Check out her full ‘Power 105’ interview here.

According to the NY Daily News, Carey’s surprise album has been in the works since 2010, before she and husband Nick Cannon welcomed their twins Moroccan and Monroe.

Carey’s “secret” 14th studio album will incorporate collaborations with a slew of heavy hitters including producers like Hit-Boy and Mike Will Made It, guest features from Wale, Nas and Trey Songz, contributions from veteran arranger Larry Gold and the Love Unlimited Orchestra, and of course collaborations with Jermaine Dupri and Rodney Jerkins

But wait, there’s more.

The pop star diva also told Billboard that there's a surprise guest feature on the album that she's "not allowed to reveal."

Aside from music, Carey also admitted that she plans to venture back into reality television. Though her ‘American Idol’ beef with former ‘American Idol’ judge and rapper Nicki Minaj got extremely heated, she hasn't let that stop her from wanting to pursue other reality competitions in the future.

"I have another [reality TV] project that I'm so very excited about that's finally coming to fruition,” she disclosed.

Billboard’s full length interview with Mariah Carey comes out on Monday. Will you be reading?
