Supreme Pro Wrestling's 2013 started off on January 20th. There was a “fan of the year” match between Joe DeSoul and Hayashi (which was won by Hayashi). The Extreme title also changed hands
when Joe DeSoul defeated Cjay Kurz to become the new champion. In the main event, the S.P.W. Heavyweight title was defended by champion Bobby Hart against Sir Samurai in a thumbtack match. Hart retained the title by defeating Samurai by pin fall.
February’s show featured Rik Luxury defending the S.P.W. Tag Team Titles with an unlikely tag team partner in the form of Dexter St. Jock in a three way match. Sir Samurai battled Paul Isadora to a count out victory by outwitting the giant. Joe DeSoul continued his Extreme title reign by defeating Hayashi and Bobby Hart fought off the stiff and angry Drake Frost to retain the S.P.W.Heavyweight title.
March’s card has Joe DeSoul defending the Extreme title against Drake Frost but it was ruled a no contest due to interference from Bobby Hart. Rik Luxury with a new tag team partner Corvus took part in a three way bout to decide who would hold the S.P.W. Tag Team Titles but there was no winner. The main event was Sir Samurai’s 500th match and it was against Timothy Thatcher. Midway through the bout Drake Frost joined the contest making it a three way dance but the match ends in a no contest due to interference from Hart, Cjay Kurz and Mustafa Saed.
April was Supreme Pro Wrestling’s 13th Anniversary Show. Cjay Kurz faced off against
Timothy Thatcher in a “No Pinfalls Match”. The brutal contest was won by Kurz when
his opponent Thatcher was knocked out. The Extreme title was defended in a four way
contest between Joe DeSoul, Drake Frost, Christopher Gray and Drake Younger.
Younger won the match by pinfall to become the new Extreme champion. The S.P.W.
Tag Team Titles were officially awarded to Rik Luxury and Corvus when they defeated
D-Torch & Virgil Flynn by pin fall. The S.P.W. Heavyweight title was won by Sir Samurai
who defeated the champion Bobby Hart via submission to win the belt.
May’s card featured a number one contender’s match for the S.P.W. HEavyweight title
that was decided by pin fall when Mustafa Saed defeated Jeff Cobb. A Six Man
Elimination match was held for the number one challenger’s spot for the Extreme title.
Joe DeSoul outlasted Paul Isadora, Virgil Flynn, Christopher Gray, Golden Boy and
D-Torch to earn a shot at getting back the belt. Drake Younger retained the Extreme
title by defeated Adam Thornstone by pin fall. The S.P.W. Heavyweight title was fought
for in a street fight contest between Champion Sir Samurai and Bobby Hart. Samurai
wins the brutal contest by pin fall to retain the title.
June’s show opened up with Sir Samurai defending his S.P.W. Heavyweight title
against Christopher Gray. Samurai easily pins the young contender by pin fall to
retain the title. The Extreme title was defended by champion Drake Younger against
former champion Joe DeSoul (who won last month’s contest to earn the shot). Drake
however wins the match by pin fall retaining the title. The S.P.W. Tag Team Titles were
defended by Rik Luxury & Corvus against Virgil Flynn & D-Torch. The champions
would lose the belts via pin fall against the high flying team of Torch & Flynn. Sir
Samurai would retain his S.P.W. Heavyweight title by defeating number one contender
Mustafa Saed by pin fall.
