The Enright Ridge Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) project, currently in its fifth season of growing vegetables in Price Hill, will hold a fundraising event at the Paradise Lounge & Garden on West Eighth at Enright, on Sunday, October 20. The event is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the recently renovated Paradise, which is just a few steps away from the greenhouse where the Enright CSA distributes produce shares each Saturday during the growing season.
This season is coming to a close, and the event will be a harvest celebration with food, music, and fun for members and their friends and neighbors; the public is also invited. Music will be provided by local musician Rock Riddlebarger and the band Benchwood Wyse, consisting of Adam Hoffman, Jacob Levy, Harrison Belew, and Asher Chalkley.
There will also be a chili supper, local brews, and activities, including cornhole and other games and scarecrow making. The Paradise Lounge is under new management, The Paradise Lounge is under new management, committed to being neighborhood-friendly, and this is one of their first neighborhood events.
Two can enjoy Paradise a little more cheaply than one; the cost is $20 per person and $35 per couple presale, and tickets will be on sale during the Enright CSA’s pickup and after (from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm) on the next two Saturdays, October 12 and 19, at the greenhouse, 824 Enright Avenue. Non-members are encouraged to stop by to buy tickets and find out more about the community-supported agriculture project in Price Hill, too.
Tickets at the door on Sunday will be $25 per person and $40 per couple. All proceeds support the Enright Ridge Urban Ecovillage Community-Supported Agriculture project. For more information, visit the Enright Ridge CSA website.
