Support our local businesses on Small Business Saturday

Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we celebrate Small Business Saturday. Consider shopping at one (or all) of these local business on November 24th for your running needs:
Foot Tech (3407 50th St) Of all the places to get running shoes in Lubbock, Foot Tech has the most knowledgeable staff. Not only can they tell you what type a shoe is, but if that’s the right type for you. They take an active approach in finding you the right shoe. If you’re a chronically injured runner or a new runner, I would recommend letting these guys help you find the best shoe for you.
Cardinal’s Sports Center (6524 Slide Rd) A Lubbock standard, Cardinal’s may not be small anymore, but they are definitely local. Catering more to team sports, Cardinal’s may not be focused towards runners, but they do have a great selection of workout gear. If you’ve done your homework and know what works for you, they also have a good selection of shoes. Consider them for finding the coolest gear for your runs.
Sun Adventure Sports (3225 50th) Founded in Amarillo, Sun Adventure Sports has now opened its doors in Lubbock too. More of a cyclist/triathlete store, they do have some shoes and apparel suited for runners. What I like best about Sun Adventure is their nutrition and hydration selection. They have a great selection of gels and fuel on the go.
Between all of your holiday shopping this season, I hope you take the time to spend some money locally.
