Easter baskets call for a chocolate treat. With a Lindt Gold Bunny in the Easter basket, the holiday gives back to Autism Speaks. Whether you eat the ears first or devour the body, the chocolate goodness of the Lindt Golden Bunny helps an important charity.

For the sixth consecutive year, Lindt is raising funds and awareness for Autism Speaks. Now through April 20, every Lindt Gold Bunny purchased will donate 10 cents to Autism Speaks. Lindt plans to donate more than $130,00 to the charity this Easter season.

"We know autism is a cause that touches millions of families and we are proud to again, generate funds and awareness for the autism cause this Easter," said Thomas Linemayr, president and CEO of Lindt USA. "With the help of our consumers and through joyous Easter celebrations, Lindt has been able to raise more than half a million dollars for Autism Speaks."

In addition to Golden Bunny sales, Lindt has a variety of activities to support Autism Speaks. The Lindt Gold Bunny Auction features porcelain versions of the iconic Lindt Gold Bunny figure that have been autographed by celebrities. One hundred person of the auction proceeds will benefit Autism Speaks. Please visit www.LindtGoldBunnyAuction.com for more information or to bid.

For the creative types, Lindt encourages fans to enter the Build a Better Easter Basket with the Lindt Gold Bunny game. This game, hosted on the Lindt Facebook page, encourages fans to help the Lindt Gold Bunny build the perfect Easter basket. When players uncover the Autism Speaks puzzle pieces, a donation will be made to the charity. To participate in the game and have the opportunity to win one of 25 Lindt Easter baskets, please visit the Lindt Facebook page.
