Shopping is something we do all year around, not only during the holidays. Whether there is a need to shop for birthdays, an anniversary, or even just for the fun of it, why not support animal rescue at the same time. Animal rescue organizations rely on fundraising and donations to support their efforts in caring for neglected, abused, and homeless animals. There are two ways to help your local animal thrift stores, either by purchasing items from the store or donating your gently used items. Either way a portion of your purchase or donations will help a local animal rescue or shelter. There are also many local book sale fundraisers where you can purchase new and used books. This is another great way to give to the animals while buying something for yourself.
