PALM BEACH, FLORIDA - There are so many ways to support animal rescue and humane treatment of our furry friends but few are more enjoyable than spending an afternoon having tea with Animal Planet star Victoria Stilwell at a posh Palm Beach venue.
The American Humane Association (AHA) and The Lois Pope LIFE Foundation have teamed up to present a series of exclusive talks, the "Be Humane Conversation Series", a thought-provoking presentation for animal lovers and those interested in protecting society's most vulnerable. The series is just one facet of their joint program to protect the voiceless and vulnerable in our society including children and animals. They also provide research, education, training and services with the mission of creating a more humane and compassionate world.
On Tuesday, February 25 at 2:30 p.m., 200 guests will join celebrity dog trainer, author, star of Animal Planet's "It's Me or the Dog", and AHA Ambassador Victoria Stilwell for an engaging conversation. Topics will include Victoria's positive dog training techniques and funny and incredible stories she'll share about the human / animal bond as well as her message of compassion for all animals.
Ms. Stilwell has starred in "It's Me or the Dog" since 2005, where she uses her gentle training to counsel families as she solves problem pet behaviors. She is also a bright light as an advocate for rescue animals and the Head Celebrity Judge of the 2014 Hero Dog Awards.
The "Be Humane" tea will be held at Palm Beach's beautiful Club Colette. Tickets are still available at $125 per person but the event will surely sell out, so act now. The tea and conversation will last approximately 90 minutes and guests will also receive Ms. Stilwell's book, Train Your Dog Positively.
