Next week, Magic tradeshow in Las Vegas will draw nearly 2,000 apparel manufacturers to promote their lines, find buyers, and negotiate orders. These numbers indicate the growing interest of Asian suppliers in hustling to find buyers and distribution in the United States. This is part of a growing trend of in-sourcing parts of supply to the United States.
So, how does a supplier manage the risk of using talent and vendors based in the United States?
A new startup company Miami Fashion Network LLC, solves this challenge by helping suppliers navigate and source vendors, distribution, and marketing in the U.S.
Founded by Jessica Rae Anderson, Miami Fashion Network offers a social network and advisory services to suppliers seeking to succeed in the specialized markets of South Florida and Latin America. MFN's team of sourcing experts will attend MAGIC Market Week’s sourcing show to meet with suppliers and discuss how they can expand their reach to Latin America, gain more orders and success in these regions.
So, how does MFN help suppliers succeed in Miami and Latin America?
MFN has created a social network site focused solely on professionals in the fashion industry. The site enables suppliers to connect with designers, buyers, media, other suppliers, and retailers.
The company provides promotional and marketing services to suppliers that join the website. Services include public relations, promotion, access and inclusion to MFN’s on-site sourcing laboratory, education on product features to designers, and Miami-based trade shows.
Miami Fashion Network’s staff of fashion industry experts has the knowledge and connections to create opportunities for distribution and retail in Miami and Latin America.
