Supernatural fans know that what happens in Vegas ends might up on Facebook. Fans traveled in from around the world from as far away as England, Germany, South Africa, France, Australia, and Japan to enjoy the three day Salute to Supernatural Con March 8-10 put on by Creation Entertainment. Three young ladies from Germany spent 10 hours on a plane, then 13 hours in a car just to attend the Salute to Supernatural Convention in Las Vegas. These devoted fans not only came to see their favorite television brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, they came to make new friends and catch up with old ones. Attendees and celebrities alike could often be found with a camera in one hand and a drink in the other. The highlights of the weekend were not only getting to see Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki in person, but it was the three days of singing, dancing, and getting to know fellow fans of CW’s hugely popular show Supernatural.

The three day Sin City party started out with Matt Cohen and Richard Speight, Jr. hosting Matt and Dick’s Karaoke with a high voltage night of fans and Supernatural stars alike putting themselves in the spotlight. Sharing that spotlight with fans were Rob Benedict, Gabriel Tigerman, James Patrick Stuart, Chad Lindberg, and even Matt Cohen and his wife South of Nowhere’s Mandy Musgrave. Actor Kurt Fuller (Zachariah) surprised the audience by running on to the stage. Fuller not only danced and sang, he let it all hang out by showing off his abs.

A more subdued and yet fun event was the annual costume contest showed off their creativity and passion. Especially this one amazing girl who turned her wheelchair in to Sam and Dean’s Impala. Sunday night had no slowing down. Fans ignored their need for sleep and closed out the weekend with a concert by Rob Benedict’s Louden Swain. Much to the delight of fans, many of the celebrity guests had stuck around and crashed the stage including Richard Speight, Jr, Sebastian Roche, Julie McNiven, Samantha Smith, and Chad Lindberg. It was a great way to burn in to memory the amazing weekend and look forward to next year.
