Hot off their wins during the People’s Choice Awards, “Supernatural” returned last night after it’s winter hiatus to the joy of “SPNL” fans everywhere. And if the show returning wasn’t enough to keep us going until next week, the folks in charge have released the synopsis for episode 8:13 “Everybody Hates Hitler” (Dread Central, Jan 16)
A quick rundown on what happened on “Torn and Frayed:” Sam and Dean have come to what seems like an uneasy truce or understanding in order to come together and help Castiel save Samandriel from Crowley. While the trio did save the angel he tells them that Crowley was successful in learning the secrets he was out to discover. Naomi tells Cas that he must kill Samandriel and return his body to her, which sadly, he does. Meanwhile the boys make some tough choices, Dean ends his friendship with Benny and Sam ends his relationship with Amelia.
Now on to “Everybody Hates Hitler.” which airs in Feb. 6 “Sam and Dean face off against a Golem — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the death of Rabbi Bass (guest star Hal Linden, “Barney Miller”), who spontaneously combusted. The case becomes ever more confusing when they learn that the Rabbi was researching Nazi Necromancers. Sam and Dean are attacked by a Golem (guest star John DeSantis) who turns out to belong to the Rabbi’s grandson, Aaron (Adam Rose). The key to the case lies with the Golem, but Aaron doesn’t know how to control him, which leaves everyone in danger.”
“Supernatural” airs on Wednesdays on CW
