The producers of the ever popular "Supernatural" have released details and the synopsis for the upcoming Jan 23 episode. (Dread Central, Jan 2). The S8 Ep 11 episode titled "LARP and The Real Girl" and will feature the return of Felicia Day's character Charlie Bradbury.
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the mysterious deaths of two LARPers (Live Action Role Playing) who were playing a game entitled Moondoor. The guys are thrilled to discover the Queen of Moondoor is none other than Charlie (guest star Felicia Day). The three learn that a fairy (guest star Tiffany Dupont) has been commandeered to harm people and the only way to stop her is to find her master.
Producer Jeremy Carver told TV Line that Charlie found a an accepting home with fellow online LARP (live action role play) players when trying to move on from her past life. Day stars in the comedy web series "The Guild" that she also created and writes for. The show revolves around an online gaming world called "The Game." The actress has also appeared in Syfy’s “Eureka.” and the web show "Husbands."
Carver also previously released the scoop on S8 Ep 10 "Torn and Frayed" set to air Jan. 16: Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is holding an angle hostage and Castiel (Misha Collins) must save him with Dean's help; Amelia gives Sam an ultimatum.
