In this sneak peek, Sam and Dean are demanding answers from a man. They think he is zombie, but he tells them that he dies each day for just a few hours. This mission is a break from the big plot of the season. Sam is going through the trials to close hell, and those trials will have an impact on the relationship between Sam and Dean. Jared Padalecki revealed the following about what is next to From Inside The Box:
"I do feel like the trials are going to take a toll on their relationship because ... it's something that Dean really wanted to do. That's not necessarily the way it worked out, so I think Dean doesn't resent Sam, but Dean resents that he wasn't able to do it."
Sam will continue to hide the problems he is having with the trials from his brother as well. In a new twist, E! Online reported on Monday that Misha Collins will return to the series as a regular cast member for season nine.
