So you know how Crowley (Mark Sheppard) wasn't answering anyone's calls as of this week's "Captives" episode? Well, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, the CW released episode details for "Supernatural" 916, "Blade Runners," and they reveal why.

In the latest "SPN" episode, after Dean (Jensen Ackles) left a third voicemail for Crowley, Sam (Jared Padalecki) commented, "Ever think he's just not that into you?" Well, he wasn't answering the demon he left in charge of his human leverage either, and while Dean had fun taunting the lowly storage facility clerk demon that he and Crowley were now buddies, there was clearly something else going on.

A promo for upcoming episodes shows Sam and Dean finding Crowley in desperate need of an intervention, and it turns out that it's all going to come back to that moment from the end of "Heaven Can't Wait." Sam saw him injecting himself with a syringe of blood, and after that, it was hard not to wonder why. Well, now we have the answer: He's addicted. However, with an addiction comes a weakness, one that his competition to rule hell is going to be able to use to her advantage because Abaddon (Alaina Huffman) now knows they're after The First Blade.

Here's the official description of "Supernatural" season 9 episode 15 "Blade Runners," written by Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming and directed by Serge Ladouceur, from the CW:

"CROWLEY SINKS DEEPER INTO HIS ADDICTION; NICOLE “SNOOKI” POLIZZI APPEARS IN A CAMEO ROLE — Dean (Jensen Ackles) is frustrated when he can’t reach Crowley (Mark Sheppard), who has promised to find The First Blade. When Crowley finally calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean, he tells them he fell off the wagon and has been injecting human blood and needs their help. To make matters worse, he had a demon (guest star Rebecca Marshall) helping him find blood, but she sold him out and told Abaddon that he and the Winchesters were searching for The First Blade. The brothers need to find the blade before Abaddon does, so they enlist the help of a former member of the Men of Letters (guest star Kavan Smith). Meanwhile, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi appears in a cameo role."

"Supernatural" season 9 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on the CW. "Blade Runners" airs March 18. What are you hoping to see in episode 16?
