"Supernatural" season 9 continues next week with episode 2, "Devil May Care," and it's time to see what the plan is for Crowley (Mark Sheppard), as teased in the new sneak preview the CW released Tuesday, Oct. 8.
In this next "Supernatural" episode, Dean (Jensen Ackles) has a surprise for Sam (Jared Padalecki): one King of Hell, kidnapped and trapped in the trunk of the Impala. Kevin (Osric Chau) understandably freaks out when he sees him (he cut off his finger!), but the brothers convince him that they need Crowley to find the demons on Earth. Meanwhile, Abaddon (Alaina Huffman) is back and with a plan: to take over Hell.
After Dean saved Sam in "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" by tricking him into saying yes to Ezekiel's (Tahmoh Penikett) possession, it's unclear just how much of Sam is going to be Sam and how much will be Sam/Ezekiel—and that will begin with this next episode. How will that affect how Dean acts around his brother when Sam's in control?
The "Devil May Care" promo to the left shows both Sam and Sam/Ezekiel, Dean showing Sam Crowley in the trunk ("He's the junk in my trunk"), Dean punching Crowley (isn't that just so satisfying?), and Abaddon's return. It looks like she's going to have fun throwing Dean around. Plus, check out the promotional photos the CW has released from this episode in the slideshow.
