"Supernatural" is entering into its final three episodes of season 8 following the awesome "Pac-Man Fever" hot on its heels. "The Great Escapist" is episode 21 and it looks to be packed full of Winchester angst and drama. Now, watching the promo it looks to be a pretty packed episode. Last week's episode, "Pac-Man Fever" had guest star Felicia Day as Charlie, the smart and lovable computer geek. She has been a breath of fresh air to the show and has now been back three times to "Supernatural" and with luck will return again in season 9.

The CW released the episode synopsis for "The Great Escapist" -

FEELING LUCKY TONIGHT? — When Sam and Dean receive a distressing video message from Kevin Tran (guest star Osric Chau), they set about trying to uncover the Third Trial. The boys make a discovery that sends them to a casino in Colorado, to find a mysterious recluse (guest star Curtis Armstrong) who may be able to fill in the holes in Kevin's research. Meanwhile, Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) is on a winning streak. Castiel tries to elude Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) and the angels hunting him. Robert Duncan McNeill directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

If you've seen the movie "Revenge of the Nerds" then you will recognize the actor portraying Metatron. The viewers have a Ben Edlund script to look forward with this episode and his writing usually proves to pack a huge punch with the fans. It seems very fitting that Edlund kicks off the first of the final three episodes of season 8.

Watch "The Great Escapist" this Wednesday night on the CW at 9 p.m. (EST). Buckle your seatbelts for the remaining episodes of the season that will most likely prove to be a very rough ride to the season finale sure to hold more than one cliffhanger which airs on May 15.
