CONTINUED FROM PART ONE

Erica Carroll has found her way in to the hearts of ‘Supernatural’ cast and fans alike with her role as the lovely and badass angel Hannah from season nine. Known for her parts in Sci-Fi film ‘Apollo 18,’ ABC TV movie called ‘In My Dreams, had parts fan favorite TV shows such as ‘Almost Human,’ ‘Battlestar Galactica,’ ‘Smallville,’ and ‘Fringe.’ This talented British Columbian actress chats about her upcoming film projects.

Q. What can you share with your fans about ‘Feed the Gods,’ the short film ‘PLAN b,’ and TV series ‘Spooksville’ and any other upcoming projects?

A. ‘Feed The Gods’ Is a film about two brothers who return to a small mountain town in search of their long lost parents only to discover that the place has a monstrous taste for tourists (Insert Big Foot here).

My character is Tyler Johnston's (Supernatural fans would recall him as Samandrial from the series) and Sean Roberts (Resident Evil: Afterlife) long lost mother. Along with Emily Tennant (Jennifer's Body) who performs the role of Tyler's girlfriend (who has also played on Supernatural) they get into a bit of a pickle. You will catch a glimpse of me in the trailer, looking rather forlorn! A fun fact: I happened to be playing Shawn Robert's sister on Motive while also filming the role of his mother on FTG...oh the magic of cinema! Warning: The trailer will make you shiver!

‘Spooksville’ is a great family show on the Hub Network. I play Laurel Hall, the mother of Keean Johnson's character Adam, the new kid in town who discovers that he holds the key to a battle between good and evil that has been taking place for centuries in a bizarre small town that plays host to a wide array of supernatural and unexplained occurrences. It was really fun to hang with kids more my maturity level and we filmed it in my home town on Vancouver Island which was really delightful.

‘When Calls the Heart,’ (Hallmark) developed by Michael Landon Jr is another series I've had the joy to work on this past year. WCTH is set in a 19th century coal town, and I play Dottie Ramsey, the busy body wife to the town mayor. Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin do a beautiful job telling the story based on Janette Oke's book of the same name. WCTH is pretty much the complete opposite of Supernatural!

Q. Thankfully you became an actress, but if you had gone a different direction, what might your career have been?

A. What other path would I have taken? OOOoooo, that's a tough one to narrow down for me because I am interested in so many things but I'll try to narrow it down. As a child I wanted to be an Astronaut and yes, that was even before I was a Trekkie but now I would choose a career in Naturopathic medicine and Osteopathy. Not quite as cool as an Astronaut some may feel, but being able to aid in healing another being. That’s even cooler.

Q. I'm going to end with what's become my signature question. If you were a baseball player, what would your walk up song be?

A. ‘The Streets Have No Name’ by U2 gets me going and any good Irish traditional tune that's got a tin whistle and a Bodhran ( ‘Da Danann Over The Bog Road’ ) gets my heart rate up and makes everything seem right with the world.
