Jo Frost, founding star of the reality hit "Supernanny" discusses her newest book, her television success and her desire to be a parent in a March 1 feature story.
The 41-year-old super nanny turned television star and successful author hasn't yet settled down to have children of her own. When she does, though, she's got adoption on her mind.
"I work a lot with families who adopt children and I’m passionate about adoption. There are so many children out there who need loving homes. So I would absolutely consider adoption," she says.
Frost hails from London, England, where she first got her start as a nanny. After years of caring for other people's children, she answered a magazine ad that landed her a television show and, ultimately, a series of best-selling parenting books.
Frost just released a new book called "Jo Frost’s Toddler SOS." She's also hard at work developing plans for a new U.S. television series.
"The new show isn’t just about helping the children, it’s also about looking at the whole family dynamic and working with adults, teenagers, toddlers, babies – and grandparents too," she says in the feature story.
With over 20 years of experience as a nanny, there's little doubt that Frost will have troubles sliding into the role of mother, a role she seems eager to take on in the very near future.
