According to a Jan. 3 report by The New York Post, supermodel Naomi Campbell was brutally attacked and robbed on the streets of Paris. Sources told the publication that Campbell was “knocked over and robbed” by thugs as she tried to hail a cab in the city of lights.
According to one source, the supermodel believes her assailant targeted her and waited until she was alone to attack her. She suffered a torn ligament and reported the incident to the French police. “Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up,” the source told the publication.
To her immediate rescue was her billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, who immediately flew her by private jet to Vail, Colorado, where she was treated by a top orthopedic surgeon.
Television news reports from earlier today showed photos of the beauty in a wheelchair. She has reportedly been using a wheelchair and crutches to get around since the attack, which happened over a month ago. No one knows what was stolen from Campbell. She has declined to comment on the attack, and is resting in Miami and prepping for her upcoming reality show, ‘The Face.’
