Coco Rocha, the Canadian born supermodel who was discovered at the age of 14 while participating in an Irish Dancing competition, revealed the first piece of her new collection at the Grammys last night. Rocha was raised on second-hand clothing, an upbringing that has played a significant role in her own shopping habits as well as her new clothing collection. Rocha has relaid that the designs for her label, Rococo, are heavily influenced by the 19th century Victorian era.

At the age of twenty-one, when most girls are trying to juggle a balance between martinis, toilets and the morning “walk of shame”, Coco Rocha displays a rare sign of maturity in a maelstrom of fashion that would make many a girl crumble from pressure. Rocha has publicly spoken out against the eating hazards of her career and stated that she neither smokes nor drinks because she takes her job seriously. The 5ft 10in, sometimes red haired leprechaun, seems to be dancing dauntlessly along, hoping to launch her line during the Spring/Summer collections of 2010.
