Brinkley, 59, said the idea came while playing the role of Roxie Hart in the stage production of Chicago, where she would throw on a wig following performances in order to exit and greet fans quickly. Now anyone looking to take a vacation from their ordinary hairstyle can choose from her collection of 10 wigs and 9 hairpieces, available in 16 different colors.
Brinkley is not the first LA model to have her own line of wigs. Fellow actress and model Raquel Welch, co-star of the Lifetime original movie House of Versace, also has her own collection available through HairUWear at several beauty shops in Los Angeles.
In honor of the product launch, Hair2Wear is offering shoppers of the Christie Brinkley Collection special introductory offers including free shipping with $49 minimum order, and a free wig stand with purchase of Christie Brinkley wigs.
