A supermarket shooting as customers scrambled to get supplies in ahead of the Atlanta snowstorm left two women wounded with gunshot wounds. When the gunshots rang out people ran for cover with some folks ducking into the freezers for cover according to Fox News on Feb. 10.
Two people were taken into custody after the Kroger store shooting in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Police say the shooting was a result of some type of argument or fight, but details are not clear on what this was about.
Lawrenceville Police Department spokesperson Greg Vaughn, said that the scene was chaotic with the store crowded ahead of the storm with folks stocking up on the necessities.
One woman was shot in the leg and the other in the torso. Both victims are in the hospital with "non-life threatening injuries." The store was evacuated after the shooting and it will open at a "later date," reports a Kroger official. The two people in custody are called "persons of interest" and no one has been charged in this shooting as of yet.
