The biggest film of the year Man of Steel brought Superman back to the big screen like never before and now it’s getting ready to fly onto Blu-ray and DVD. This releases is already highly anticipated, but with the added addition of this year being the 75th Anniversary of this iconic character Warner Brothers and DC Comics are going all out to celebrate.
Much like the tumbler tour they did for Batman they are hitting the road but this time bringing a collection of suits used in the various cinematic incarnations Superman. Currently the tour has made its way to the State Fair of Texas who ironically were unveiling their own icon this year with the new Big Tex who had tragically burned down in 2012. The tour features costumes from Man of Steel including Superman worn by Henry Cavill, Jor-El worn by Russell Crowe, and Faora worn by Antje Traue as well as a suit worn by Dean Cain in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, a suit worn by Brandon Routh from Superman Returns, and the most iconic of them all a suite worn by the late Christopher Reeve from Superman III.
The fair offers all kinds of fun, food, and festivities but nothing is more exciting than this once in a life-time chance to check out movie history from easily the most iconic character in comic history. Seeing these iconic suits up close is not only cool, but depending on your age will send you into a state of nostalgia bringing Superman off the screen and lands right in front of you like never before.
Do not miss this incredible opportunity to check out this piece of iconic history and head out to the State Fair of Texas where the tour will be available to check out from now until October 20th and be sure to grab some outrageous fried food, ride some rides, play some games, and so much more.
Be sure to grab your copy of Man of Steel when it hits Blu-ray and DVD on November 12th from Warner Brothers Home Entertainment.
