The weekend of May 17th - 19th will see the return of the Superior Morgul (formally the Morgul Bismark) now named after the town that hosts the event. This year Without Limits Sports created a 3 race omnium weekend that features a time-trial, criterium and the famous Morgul Bismark road race. Racers will only need to register once for any and all events. This year dedicated race numbers along with chip timing by Race Right will give each participant a consolidated report of all race results.
MAY 17th TIME-TRIAL
The most popular time-trial of 2012 has some exciting changes. Using the chip timing technology race results will display live on a finish line TV monitor. The 6.2 mile race against the clock will be a test of strength and endurance following the toughest features of the Morgul Bismark course. The time trial starts on top of the "hump" and continues west toward the foothills, finishing just before Highwy 93! Road or time trial bike may be used for this race
MAY 18th SUMMIT CRITERIUM
The Summit Criterium is one of Colorado's favorite courses running through downtown Superior and the Summit Condo Complex. The “L” shaped course features a a wide start/finish with a transition uphill through a narrow alley ways then returns via a wide, downhill into the last cornering into an uphill sprint. Field sizes are limited to 125 per category.
MAY 19th MORGUL BISMARK
The infamous road race is back with some exiting changes for 2013. This year's race will feature chip timing, providing lap splits for each race and and a split at the famous hill known as the "Wall" The 13.3 mile loop has 750 vertical feet of elevation gain with significant grades and the finish at the top of the Wall. This year the "Wall" will be packed with spectators, vendors, and a Beer Garden. There will be a citizen's wave at 10:30am, followed by the pro race.
