Superheroes putting smiles on sick kid's faces

There is nothing more heartbreaking than to see sick children. The staff at Sick Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa can attest to that. However, there is something very special going on there to put smiles on the children’s faces.

The kids got a special treat. They were able to see their superpower heros in action. Batman, Captain America, Superman and Spiderman came to wash the windows at the Sick Children’s Hospital.

The children’s little faces were glued to the windows watching their superpowers scale the walls and wash the windows. For a short time they were able to forget about their sickness and enjoy themselves in child wonderment.

Mothers are just so delighted that their kids could be entertained in this fashion. "We live in Florida, and so I've been here for 5 1/2 months," said Alex Fast, who had a liver transplant at the hospital in February.”

"He's been sick for 14 years, and we're really grateful for this hospital," said Fast's mother, Michelle Smith.

Their son had a chance to forget his terrible illness for just a few moments and enjoy the view.

The superheroes window washers from Allegheny Window Cleaning Company love their job and they love to put smiles on the faces of these sick children.
