Batman, Catwoman, Superman, the Flash and other favorites are racing to Union Grove for the Superhero Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, September 7. The 5K event, sponsored by Community State Bank, begins at 3 p.m. and runs through the downtown of historic Union Grove, Wisconsin.
Clowns, face painters, and food concessions are also expected at Super Saturday in Union Grove.
Costumes are optional for the Superhero Fun Run/Walk.
Registration choices include Ordinary Citizen or Superhero, and participants may dress up as popular superheroes or race in regular attire in the untimed event. Superhero signup includes costume capes, masks, and wrist guards.
All participants receive goody bags, finish line snacks, and complimentary drink tickets for the follow-up Super Saturday night gala, which includes the 9th Annual Street Dance in the Union Grove Village Square.
The 3.1-mile run is part of Union Grove’s annual Super Saturday, an all-day family-friendly event. Additional activities include a craft fair, historic demonstrations, laser tag, a “Union Grove’s Got Talent” show, tractor-trolley rides, a rummage sale, and more.
