Superfit Demi Moore flaunts slammin' bikini body at 47 on Twitter (photos)

They say 40 is the new 30, but in Demi Moore's case, 47 is the new 27.

Moore showed off her fit bikini body in photos she tweeted Aug. 31, 2010. Demi, a mother of three who's happily married to the much-younger Ashton Kutcher, 32, posted the sexy pictures, tweeting: "Maybe this is more like summer!"

Over the years, tabloids have speculated that Moore has undergone some $500,000 in plastic surgery enhancements, from facelifts to breast surgeries to liposuction to a kneecap lift.

'I WAS OBSESSED WITH MY BODY'

While Demi has repeatedly denied these rumors, she admits she was obsessed with her looks for many years.

"I had an extreme obsession with my body," she has said. "I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over. But it never lasted and ultimately it didn't bring me anything but temporary happiness."

Ironically, Moore is thinner and fitter now in her late 40s than she was in her 20s and 30s, when she worked out and dieted around the clock. But the mom of three says she started to look her best when she stopped obsessing over exercise.

She says: "Does being thin resolve anything? No. The irony is that when I abandoned that desire to dominate my body, it actually became the body that I always wanted. But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless."

Demi insists she stays lean and young-looking by being active and following a clean, organic diet.

Moore is currently shooting the comedy LOL: Laughing Out Loud, which co-stars Twilight beauty Ashley Greene and Miley Cyrus.
