Masahiro Sakurai has revealed another new look at the Nintendo Wii U version of the forthcoming multiplatform software release, “Super Smash Bros. 4.” As reported by Mii Gamer on Sept. 19, the game director released a new media asset and teaser message featuring two of the playable fighters in the crossover fighting game: Link and Princess Peach.
The two characters can be seen making eye contact up close. Link is holding up his shield while Princess Peach is approaching him. Masahiro Sakurai did not state whether or not the sequence is part of a cut scene or gameplay segment. You can check out the new screen of the two fighters, as well as some older shots of the video game, in the slideshow near the top of this article. By any chance, are you hiding something from me?
Link has been in every game in the “Super Smash Bros.” series. In “Super Smash Bros. 4,” his attire is based on his appearance in “The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword,” which was released for the Nintendo Wii platform on Nov. 20, 2011. Princess Peach, which is the latest playable character to be confirmed, has been a part of the roster for the crossover fighting game series since “Super Smash Bros. Melee.”
Players will be able to test out both Link and Princess Peach when “Super Smash Bros. 4” is released sometime next year on the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. You can pre-order the product from Amazon in the following link: “Super Smash Bros. 4”
