Masahiro Sakurai has further showcased a new stage for the Nintendo Wii U iteration of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Super Smash Bros. 4.” As reported by Mii Gamer on Sept. 9, the game director behind the product revealed that the airplane on the new level will flying close to the surface of Wuhu Island.
The latest screenshot features Mario and Villager fighting on top of a small yellow aircraft. Their fight got interrupted, however, as the bipedal plane maneuver closer to the grounds, causing the platform in which both characters are standing on to tilt heavily on one side. The two fighters lost their balance as a result. You can check out the new screen of the dynamic stage, as well as some older shots, in the slideshow near the top of this article and Masahiro Sakurai’s comments on the image below (courtesy of Mii Gamer):
Pic of the day. Nothing to see here — just another airplane passing right above town with people fighting on it
Villager is one of the three new characters announced for “Super Smash Bros. 4.” The unique fighter uses a variety of attacks based on his abilities from the “Animal Crossing” series. Marion, on the other hand, has been in every single video game in the “Super Smash Bros.” series.
Masahiro Sakurai is planning to complete the development of “Super Smash Bros. 4” for the Nintendo Wii U, as well as the Nintendo 3DS, sometime next year. You can pre-order the products from Amazon in the following links: “Super Smash Bros. 4”
