New summoning details have been revealed in regards to “Super Smash Bros 4” for Wii U and 3DS. According to a report from Badger Herald on April 17, Nintendo revealed that the Master Ball will be added to the list of items for the crossover fighting title. The publisher previously confirmed the return of the Poke Ball as well.

The Master Ball is used to summon rare and legendary pocket monsters, including Xerneas from “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y,” when picked up and thrown to the ground. The other potential creatures that could be called upon include Arceus, Darkrai, Deoxys, Dialga, Entei, Giratina, Keldeo, Kyurem, Kyogre, Latias, Latios, Lugia, Meloetta, Mew, Palkia, Suicune and Victini. The item can be differentiated by its purple coloring as well as the “M” logo.

The Poke Ball will be used in “Super Smash Bros 4” for Wii U and 3DS to summon the more common creatures. Among the returning cast of pocket monsters that appeared in previous “Super Smash Bros” games includes Bellossom, Electrode, Gardevoir, Goldeen, Meowth, Metagross, Snorlax, Staryu and Togepi. Furthermore, the development teams also added the following newcomers from the “Pokemon X and “Pokemon Y” video games: Chespin, Dedenne, Fennekin, Gogoat, Inkay, Spewpa and Swirlix. The four other new creatures are Eevee, Oshawott, Snivy and Zoroark.

In the previous games in the series, Nintendo give players the option of turning off the Poke Ball drops when playing custom battles. The same feature should be made available in “Super Smash Bros 4” for Wii U and 3DS. You can compare the Master Ball and Poke Ball items in the screen from the official Facebook page of the series with the photo added near the top of this article. “Super Smash Bros 4” for Wii U will be released during the winter while “Super Smash Bros 4” for 3DS is due to be launching during the summer.
