Masahiro Sakurai provided a few details regarding the Sonic the Hedgehog stage in the Nintendo Wii U version of the multiplatform title, “Super Smash Bros. 4.” According to a report from Mii-Gamer on Oct. 24, the crossover fighting video game shares a similar level to “Sonic: Lost World.”
Masahiro Sakurai disclosed that the exclusive “Sonic: Lost World” is now available for the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS platforms in Japan. He went on to state that the first area from the platforming game, which is called The Windy Hill, will be included as a stage in the Nintendo Wii U version of “Super Smash Bros. 4.”
The screenshot that was featured shows Mario and Sonic fighting on a grassy platform with a lot of green hills in the background. You can check out the new screen of The Windy Hill, along with some other shots, in the slideshow near the top of this article and the comments from the game director below (via Mii-Gamer):
Pic of the day. Sonic: Lost World is out in Japan today! The Windy Hill area can also be seen in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U…but I can’t tell you all the details yet!
The Windy Hill isn’t the only Sonic stage to be featured in the “Super Smash Bros.” series. “Super Smash Bros. Brawl,” which was released in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii, came with the Green Hill Zone.
The forthcoming “Super Smash Bros. 4” is expected to launch next year for the aforesaid Nintendo Wii U console in addition to the Nintendo 3DS handheld system. You can pre-order the product from Amazon in the following link: “Super Smash Bros. 4”
