‘Super Smash Bros. 4’ Wii U and 3DS director compares Little Mac to Samus

The director of “Super Smash Bros” for Wii U and 3DS has made a comparison between two of the characters in the upcoming multiplatform video game. According to a report from Nintendo Everything on Feb. 20, Masahiro Sakurai confirmed that Samus has a height advantage over Little Mac.

In fact, the boxer will be undersized when compared to some of the fighters. However, Little Mac is effective against his opponents due to his punching prowess. As shown in Little Mac's debut video, here is the height difference between Samus and Little Mac. He's used those mighty green gloves to punch out many challengers bigger than himself.

Samus has appeared in every game in the series so far. Little Mac first made an appearance as an assist trophy with the 2008 Nintendo Wii exclusive video game, “Super Smash Bros. Brawl.” In the fourth main installment of the franchise, he will be made a playable character joining other newcomers such as Mega Man, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer.

In total, “Super Smash Bros. 4” for Wii U and 3DS has a roster size of 23 with more fighters expected to be announced in the future. Nintendo, the publisher of the software product, is expected to release the video game by the end of 2014.
