Masahiro Sakurai has provided a short comment in regards to the latest character reveal for the upcoming Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS video game, “Super Smash Bros. 4.” According to a report by Nintendo Everything on Oct. 3, the game director used the Miiverse social networking service to voice is opinion.
He posted a screenshot of Toon Link from the Nintendo Wii U version of “Super Smash Bros. 4.” The super-deformed character is shown jumping in the air with a shock facial expression. Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo, announced that Sonic will be a part of the roster for the latest “Super Smash Bros.” installment during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation. The blue hedgehog mascot from Sega first made an appearance in the franchise with the release of “Super Smash Bros. Brawl” for the Nintendo Wii in 2008.
Sonic and Toon Link are two of the latest characters to be confirmed for “Super Smash Bros. 4.” The Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS crossover fighting video game will be arriving on store shelves sometime next year in North America.
