Masahiro Sakurai has issued a response in regards to the outpouring of fans expressing their concerns for his health and the possible delay of the development for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Super Smash Bros. 4.” According to a report by Gamnesia on March 1, the game director thanked his fans for their encouragement on Twitter. He also stated that they shouldn’t worry about his health as well as the development progress of his upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U title. Masahiro Sakurai previously disclosed that he is suffering some several ailments on his right arm that could hinder his work with “Super Smash Bros. 4.” The sequel is slated to come out for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U systems with cross-platform support. Nintendo has not yet announce a release date for “Super Smash Bros. 4.”
