If you are considering adopting a rescue pet, you might want to visit the Super Pet Expo. The Super Pet Expo will take place February 8-10, 2013 at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison.
The event is billed as the premiere shopping extravaganza and animal entertainment destination. The show organizers also promise to deliver plenty of educational opportunities during the three-day event. Amongst the more than 150 pet-related vendors, many animal rescue groups will be featured.
“We are happy to welcome a variety of animal rescue organizations to our 2013 event,” said Eric Udler, president, Super Pet Expo. “The show promotes responsible pet ownership and helps draw attention to abandoned pets available for adoption. The event provides an opportunity for those looking to adopt a new pet to meet with a number of different rescue representatives in person in one place.”
Among the New Jersey based rescue groups featured are:
Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, Inc. – New Jersey Chapter. They were organized in 1979 to serve the seven states of the Mid-Atlantic region.
People for Animals – Founded in 1980, they are an independent non-profit animal welfare organization not affiliated with any other Humane Society or any national or local animal welfare groups.
