Today Team Meat, the developer behind the much anticipated 2D WiiWare platformer Super Meat Boy, told IGN that their game would also be hitting the XBLA downloadable service.

To add to the deal, the XBLA version of Super Meat Boy will be releasing before the WiiWare version, and will also have an online mode. According to Team Meat, the online mode couldn't be included in the WiiWare version due to size restrictions.

I've been super exited for this game for a while now. Too bad about the online thing, but oh well. The concept is hilarious, regardless.
